Creating a Mindfulness-Based Massage Practice
Cost: $325 or $395 (depending on if you take 20 CE hours or 25 CE hours)

Overview: Included in this 25 hour class is: 12 hands-on hours of Mindfulness-Based Massage Techniques (where through mindfulness/present-centered awareness you will rejuvenate and renew your massage techniques by learning some new techniques, reviewing major muscle group anatomy, utilizing heat (when indicated) and coming back in touch with why you decided to become a massage therapist in the first place PLUS, you get to receive at least one FREE massage from a classmate!), 6 hours of Business and Marketing, 2 hours of Ethics including Roles and Boundaries, 2 hours of Florida Massage Laws and Rules, 2 hours of Medical Errors Prevention, and 1 hour of HIV/Aids Education. Upon successful completion of this class, you will have mastered the skills necessary to integrate mindfulness-based techniques into your entire massage practice immediately.
Ethics of Touch for the LMT Cost: $15
Hours: 2 (NCBTMB/FL Board approved for LMTs)
Overview: This class fulfills the 2 hour Ethics requirement for the Florida Board of Massage Therapy which all LMTs in the State of Florida need (except for the first renewal for new therapists). Topics covered include: dual relationships, boundaries, communications, and ethical dilemma resolution techniques.
Ethics of Touch with 2 Hours of Boundaries
Cost: $60 Hours: 6 (NCBTMB/FL Board approved for LMTs)
Overview: This class is an expanded version of the Ethics of Touch for the LMT. It fulfills both the Florida Board of Massage Therapy requirements for re-licensure as well as the NCBTMB requirements for re-certification.
Florida Laws Review for the LMT
Cost: $15 Hours: 2 (NCBTMB/FL Board approved for LMTs)
Overview: This class fulfills the 2 hour Laws & Rules requirement for the Florida Board of Massage Therapy which all LMTs in the State of Florida need (except for the first renewal for new therapists). Topics covered include highlights and most frequently and unintentionally broken "Laws & Rules" from: FS 456 and 480 (the Massage Practice Act) as well as f.a.c. 64B-7 (Board of Massage Therapy Rules). There will also be a Question and Answer portion of this class so bring along any questions you might have to class.
Florida Massage Laws and Rules 10 Hours
Cost: $150 Hours: 10 (NCBTMB/FL Board approved for LMTs)
Overview: This class fulfills the 10 hour Laws & Rules requirement for the Florida Board of Massage Therapy for massage therapists seeking licensure in the State of Florida or currently licensed massage therapists seeking more information about Florida Laws and Rules while earning continuing education credit. Topics covered include "Laws & Rules" from: FS 456 and 480 (the Massage Practice Act) as well as f.a.c. 64B-7 (Board of Massage Therapy Rules). There will also be a Question and Answer portion of this class so bring along any questions you might have to class.
HIV/Aids Education for the LMT
Cost: $15 Hours: 1 (NCBTMB/FL Board approved for LMTs)
Overview: This clas fulfills the HIV/Aids requirement for the Florida Board of Massage Therapy, which all LMTs in the State of Florida need (including for teh first renewal for new therapists). Topics covered include massage indications and contraindications in working with clients who are HIV positive or who have AIDS and disease transmission and progression.
Hydrotherapy for Your Practice
Cost: $225 Hours: 12 (NCBTMB/FL Board approved for LMTs - fulfills the hands-on, live, in-classroom requirement for the FL Board)
Overview: In this 12 hour class, you will learn the history of civilizations utilizing hydrotherapy, indications, contraindications, and the use of heat, cold, contrast therapy, and paraffin treatments. Upon successful completion of this class, you will have mastered the skills necessary to integrate these techniques into your massage treatments immediately.
Hydrotherapy & Spa Services for Your Practice
Cost: $325 Hours: 18 (NCBTMB/FL Board approved for LMTs - fulfills the hands-on, live, in-classroom requirement for the FL Board)
Overview: In addition to the 12 hours of Hydrotherapy described above, you will also receive an additional 6 hours of training in salt, sugar, and coffee scrubs/glows as well as dry-brushing, body wraps, and the application of hot and cold stones (a glimpse at what is offered in the "Stone Massage for the LMT" course). You will need to bring a bathing suit or shorts and tank top as we end the day at the beach to perform the salt-glow, sugar-glow, and coffee-glows. Upon successful completion of this class, you will have mastered the skills necessary to integrate these techniques into your massage treatments immediately.

Overview: In this 8 hour massage therapy business class, it is time to put the ENTHUSIASM back into your massage therapy practice! By the end of this class, you will put together a business card, brochure, and a beautiful and user-friendly website as well as learn about successful marketing techniques, goal-setting, and social-media networking opportunities. If you have a laptop, please bring it along to the class. If you don't, a computer will be provided for your use. If you already have a business card, brochure, and website, we will be happy to look them over and give you feedback on them in order to help you get more clients on Monday!
Oncology Massage: Compassionate Touch for Clients Living with Cancer
Cost: $395 Hours: 24 (NCBTMB/FL Board approved for LMTs - fulfills the hands-on, live, in-classroom requirement for the FL Board)
Overview: In this 24 hour class, you will learn how to safely work on clients living with cancer, indications and contraindications, how cancer spreads, cancer treatments and their side-effects, post-mastectomy scar-tissue work, disease and treatment-related adjustments, as well as have the opportunity to work in a clinical setting on a person who is currently undergoing treatments for cancer or is in remission. Raindrop Technique for the LMT

Overview: In this 8 hour class, you will learn the history and use of essential oils, benefits of Raindrop Technique, indications, contraindications, and the techniques involved in the treatment. Raindrop Technique is a very relaxing treatment involving the use of 9 different therapeutic grade essential oils and essential oil blends that are applied as drops up the spine feeling like raindrops. Overview: YBR, or Yamuna Body Rolling, is a fitness and therapy practice that combines healing, wellness, and injury prevention. Six to ten-inch balls are used to strengthen, tone, and realign the body. As therapists, we are constantly placing demands on our bodies and we are prone to repetitive-use injuries. YBR can provide a necessary self-care tool for the massage community. In the first class, we will be taking a detailed look at the anatomy of the shoulder, forearm, wrist, and hand using the YBR balls. The balls will also be used to self-treat these much used areas. The format of the second class will follow the first, but the information will be focused on the muscles relating to the health of the spine and the self-treatment of lower back pain as well as upper back and neck strain.

Thai Massage On The Table (Table Thai)

Overview: This primarily hands-on workshop will allow you to adapt traditional Thai techniques for use on a massage table and enable you to explain the uses and benefits of Table Thai to your clients. These techniques will add variety to your table-based massage practice and can be truly beneficial for your clients, especially in assisting athletes improve flexibility and performance. This course will prepare the therapist to understand today's athlete and provide them with customized performance massage therapy. It's the job of the therapist to understand the athlete's goals, limitations, background, and how to help them perform better and decrease their risk for injury. The techniques learned will allow the therapist to expand his or her practice in the area of Table Thai.
